Job Summary:

The Hitters House Supervisor works under the General Manager's leadership providing support in various operational aspects. This role provides guidance and training to store staff as needed, to ensure the best customer service is delivered and sales targets are met. This role also provides support to the maintenance and management of the batting facility.

Job Duties:
  • Lead by example ensuring that each guest has an outstanding customer experience by providing a guest friendly environment.

  • Handle sales transactions from helping customers with questions and merchandise, to finalizing the sale at the register.

  • Maintain solid product knowledge.

  • Represent the brand embodying its values in all interactions with customers, and employees.

  • Assist with the training and development of staff to help them become part of a motivated sales force.

  • Assist in maintaining attractive visual displays and store layouts.

  • Assist with the distribution of the team’s daily tasks.

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve sales goals and targets.

  • Support administrative functions as needed.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general questions and needs on the sales floor.

  • Assist the General Manager with social media content to promote engagement.

  • Assist in overseeing day‑to‑day store operations.

  • Collaborate with the General Manager in the maintenance of the batting cage area.

Requirements:
  • Previous retail experience is preferred.

  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Ability to follow directions.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • At least one year of retail experience preferred.

  • Baseball knowledge preferred.

  • College degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
