The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Take an active role and partner with the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of the store.
  • Handle all day‑to‑day store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development to Store Employees.
  • Maintain Customer/Donor relations, resolve complaints and ensure service is quick and efficient.
  • Communicate personnel issues to Management; issue disciplinary warnings, conference reports, employee evaluations and goals.
  • Ensure store is maintained at ARC Merchandising Standards and inventory levels are adequate.
  • Oversee Back Room Processing and ensure Material Handlers achieve daily processing goals.
  • Ensure adequate change, safeguard cash, and bank receipts per ARCC policy.
  • Assist Store Manager in establishing safety measures consistent with ARC policy and regulations.
  • Implement loss prevention measures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management, Retail Directors and Command Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous Retail Management/Supervisory experience.
  • Accurate handling of POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
  • Valid Driver’s license with proof of insurance.
  • Pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
  • Effective communication with management, staff, customers, and donors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
  • Ability to move product up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.
  • Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
SCHEDULE

Store operates 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by Management and must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full-time associates may work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
