the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director - Sales (Americas) to join Jumeirah
. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth from Americas, aligned with Jumeirah’s global objectives and brand standards
- Identify and grow new business across luxury travel agencies, MICE, consortia, and high-value clients while managing key account portfolios
- Partner closely with hotel teams and Global Sales colleagues to identify opportunities and convert new and existing accounts
- Lead and host key FAM trips to Jumeirah hotels worldwide to strengthen relationships and increase market engagement
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback, and translate insights into targeted sales actions and campaigns
- Represent Jumeirah at roadshows and major industry events such as Virtuoso Travel Week, IMEX, and ILTM North America, while monitoring sales performance and reporting results
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of sales experience, preferably with an international hospitality company
- Proven ability to execute sales motions and campaigns that drive significant growth and enhance revenue in the Americas
- Strong experience in building and managing senior-level client and partner relationships across Americas, with excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Strategic and collaborative mindset with the ability to work across Global Sales, Hotel Sales, and regional teams, supported by strong analytical skills, CRM proficiency, leadership capability, and willingness to travel
