Position: HRO Total Source - Strategic Sales Specialist

Overview

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO).

In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You will attend training and work with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions, helping employees with high-quality benefits offerings across the hire-to-retire spectrum. You will cultivate relationships with HR and executive decision-makers, set appointments, gather leads from internal partners, and assess buyer needs to present ADP solutions.

You will manage multiple sales processes at different stages, document them, and guide deals through implementation until new business is up and running. The role offers industry-leading compensation and rewards, and leadership will support continual sales training and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Grow our business within a defined, protected territory by closing sales, winning business, and achieving sales goals through a top-down sales strategy.
  • Turn prospects into loyal and referring clients by recommending solutions that address client needs and by networking with decision-makers in person and by phone.
  • Deepen relationships across the ADP family by cross-selling cloud-based HR solutions and other ADP services within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate daily as a trusted advisor and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and networks while maintaining high ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Positive self-starter with an upbeat, persistent style, ability to cold call, strong time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking; able to present ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Strategic closer with an established network and experience carrying a quota in outside business-to-business sales; proven track record of closing sales and managing a territory and relationships.
  • Proven winner who thrives under pressure and is motivated to exceed sales quotas; college degree is not required.
  • Experience options if no degree: three years of business-to-business sales (field sales preferred) or military experience that informs teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and relationship-building.
