The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive bids for Commercial Entry Door Systems, supporting the sales staff and helping to secure profitable sales and positive customer relationships. Knowledge and experience in the industry is a prerequisite for this role.

• Rapidly develop or possess advanced skills in DH Pace estimating processes, procedures, and software, including Excel, Bluebeam, and internal systems.
• Acquire advanced knowledge of doors and related products, understanding functionality, special features, usage options and pricing variance based on specific job needs.
• Educate the sales team on product options and assist customers in product selection to ensure successful sales and optimal project outcomes.
• Perform effective Quote Request Review, Scope Creation, Material List, and Product Selections to generate accurate project cost estimates and bids.
• Estimate advanced and complex projects of limited size, writing all proposals clearly and concisely for manager review before customer presentation.
• Understand and nurture vendor relationships, building strong contacts.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum of two (2) years of commercial door work preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational and mathematical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy; working knowledge of Microsoft Office desirable.

Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) is required in advance of hire.
