Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities using technical expertise and Linde technologies portfolio.
- Grow industrial gases and equipment sales in the West Region through value‑based technical and consultative selling.
- Acquire new and expand existing customers through prospecting, lead qualification, market strategy, business case development, proposal creation, and technology‑based pricing recommendations.
- Provide technical sales support and oversee project implementation and start‑up to ensure successful customer onboarding.
- Analyze markets and industry activity including niches, regional economic trends, competition, and product application opportunities.
- Initiate and execute growth campaigns, market initiatives, and customer communication strategies.
- Monitor competitive activity and develop response strategies based on market intelligence and Linde’s technology differentiators.
- Develop customer and industry relationships with prospects, consultants, and vendors.
- Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams including Sales, Linde Technology (LT), National BD, Applications Equipment, and Customer Service.
- Leverage internal resources to support opportunity development and sales strategy execution.
- Participate in regional and national sales strategy development with business development, key account teams, and sales leadership.
- Support assigned industries: heat treatment, additive manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, metals, glass, food, electronics, semiconductor.
- Operate from Arizona, preference for Phoenix or Tempe.
- BS degree required, engineering or other technical disciplines strongly preferred.
- More than ten (10+) years of experience in technical sales within relevant industrial markets.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to support customers, projects, and regional initiatives.
- Proven record of customer acquisition and growth demonstrating resilience and consistent results.
