Inside Sales Vehicle Account Manager

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Vehicle Account Manager within our Used Vehicle Sales division. In this role you will generate and convert leads, maximize sales of used vehicles, promote ancillary products, and collaborate with wholesale and maintenance teams to optimize inventory.

Essential Functions
  • Call and email marketing qualified leads (web, referrals, warm leads, call‑ins); generate self‑produced leads using industry resources.
  • Generate first‑time buyers and establish repeat buyers by enhancing customer experience.
  • Increase speed to market by streamlining processes and procedures; maximize ancillary product revenue (warranty, financing, Select Care, and other services).
  • Work with field counterparts to minimize inventory holding time; prepare required paperwork (bill of sale, title, warranty forms, etc.).
  • Proactively communicate with Asset Management and Vehicle Sales Management regarding market conditions, pricing trends and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with Wholesale/Export team to identify customers/prospects that fit wholesale/export arena.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Per management’s request to meet evolving prospect/customer needs.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong verbal and listening skills.
  • Effective communication and sales skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and multitask.
  • Self‑starter with flexibility in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
  • Effective negotiation skills and understanding of negotiation process.
  • Intermediate knowledge of CRM systems preferred.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; emphasis on marketing and sales.
  • Three (3) years or more sales‑related experience required.
  • Intermediate CRM knowledge preferred.
Work Arrangement

Remote role. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible).

Compensation
  • Salary: $45,000 – $45,000 annually.
  • Possible annual bonus, commission, and long‑term incentive plan.
