Fer Robotics, Inc. is seeking a driven and customer-focused SALES ENGINEER to join our U.S. team in Tempe, Arizona
.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical aptitude with excellent sales and relationship-building skills. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving business growth by developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, leading technical sales discussions, and guiding projects from initial inquiry through successful completion.
The ideal candidate is confident communicating with customers at all levels, comfortable conducting both virtual and in-person meetings, and motivated by helping customers solve manufacturing challenges through innovative automation solutions.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with customers, integrators, and partners.
- Lead sales discussions by identifying customer pain points, understanding application requirements, and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Conduct professional virtual and in-person customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate opportunity tracking within the company CRM system.
- Follow up consistently on leads, quotations, and active projects to drive opportunities toward closure.
- Coordinate with engineering, service, and product management teams to support customer applications and project execution.
- Represent Fer Robotics at trade shows, association meetings, customer visits, and industry events.
- Travel as needed to support business development, customer meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of Fer Robotics products and automation technologies.
- Identify additional opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue new business relationships. relationships.
- Experience in technical sales, industrial sales, applications engineering, automation, robotics, or manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and manage a sales process effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable leading both virtual and live customer meetings.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
- Engineering, sales or technical background preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed throughout the U.S. and internationally when required.
- Must be able to work onsite in Tempe, Arizona.
