Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Client Account Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of business clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a strong service mindset, and is eager to deepen their expertise within the distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for an assigned client portfolio, owning the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Manage and oversee order activity, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure seamless fulfillment.
  • Build and maintain trusted long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and anticipating challenges.
  • Advocate internally on behalf of clients while aligning decisions with organizational financial and operational objectives.
  • Make informed, independent decisions that balance customer satisfaction with company standards.
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable safety, regulatory, and conduct requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, sales, and operations teams to deliver consistent service quality.
Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience managing a dedicated client or account portfolio.
  • 3+ years of B2B service or account management experience with a demonstrated track record of building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) and/or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Background in industrial distribution, specialty chemicals, or a related supply chain environment.
