The Sales Marketing & Events Coordinator will support market sales, group bookings, banquets and catering, and on-site programming and special events. This role ensures seamless planning and execution of events that align with brand standards while delivering polished, memorable guest experiences.

Short-Term & Local Event Management- Manage small meetings and one-day events within 60 days of arrival.
- Plan and execute catering-only groups with strong attention to detail.
- Primary contact for all weddings and related events.
- Solicit, contract, and manage wedding business and room blocks.
- Lead coordination of on-property programming and events.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing on holidays, activations, and special events.
- Track engagement and take‑rate of programming and experiences; recommend optimizations.
- Lead local and guerrilla marketing efforts for the hotel and restaurant, including community activations.
- Capture photography and short‑form video content that showcases the property, events, and Trailborn brand experience.
- Build relationships across Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal segments.
- Identify new group sales opportunities and local partnerships.
- Prepare BEOs, coordinate cross‑departmentally, and manage billing.
- Maintain CRM and digital lead platforms; respond to inquiries and conduct site tours.
- Hotel, resort, or event sales experience preferred.
- Expertise in group sales processes, event coordination, and room block management.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to cultivate strong client and vendor relationships.
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM and event‑management platforms (e.g., Delphi, Tripleseat, or comparable systems) preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Able to walk, stand, and move for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
