Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000/Year + Commission = OTE of $250,000+

Job Purpose

Summary:

To execute CTS an APIC Solutions Company Business Development strategies in order to develop customer relationships across all divisions and services. APIC Solutions looking for a driven, fearless and passionate Account Manager focused on providing Electrical, Lighting, Voice/Data/Fiber/Wireless, Life Safety, Security, and Emergency Communications Solutions. Extensive Travel (windshield) time within the state of Arizona with up to 6 overnights per month.

Key

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Physically and telephonically "cold call" prospective accounts
  • Schedule between 6 to 12 appointments weekly with prospects and customers and involve your APIC teammates, as appropriate
  • Utilize APIC's CRM, by adding contacts and company details along with recording tasks, appointments and other account management details
  • Demonstrate equipment and software to prospects and customers
  • Conduct training seminars for prospects and customers
  • Perform site-surveys and complete scope of work documents for each project you are proposing
  • Complete and submit quote requests and other project documents
  • Create and maintain "opportunities" within CRM and follow the APIC Solutions proposal process
  • Generate and work with APIC Project Development Engineers to create estimates
  • Develop strategic and customized proposals and prepare for presentation to customer
  • Review, Revise and Present estimates and proposals to APIC Management for approval
  • Present proposal in person to prospects and customers
  • Participate in weekly business development meetings that utilize a team approach to managing prospects and key accounts within your verticals
  • Support APIC Solutions marketing initiatives and participate in discussions on how to better communicate our offering to prospects
  • Pursue training, personal development and be willing to cross train your teammates on your areas of expertise

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete all areas outlined for this position in a satisfactory manner. Listed below are requirements representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job responsibilities.   • Minimum 3 years of Experience and/or knowledge of Electrical, Lighting, Voice, Data, and Security, and Life Safety products and solutions
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance
  • Understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management
  • Strong financial analysis capabilities
  • Excellent writing, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to understand customer requirements, discern the best solution for achieving client goals, while satisfying customer requirements
  • Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position
  • Must be detail oriented, have multitasking abilities, handle tight, time-sensitive deadlines
Desired Key Qualities
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to present to C-Level Executives
  • Outside business-to-business sales experience is highly preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal & time management skills
  • Must be creative and able to offer suggestions in how to achieve desired results
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated, and career oriented, with a desire to contribute to the growth of the company
  • Maintain an awareness of business related trends in the industry
  • A 4-year college degree preferred, but not required

This position is a salaried and commission driven. Compensation includes salary/commission, comprehensive benefits package including health Insurance, and company IRA savings. Excellent earning potential!
