The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist is responsible for engaging Oncology specialists and other key Oncology customers within a geographical universe and settings—including academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts—in support of the launch of our Multiple Myeloma product. This key role focuses on presenting clinically focused selling messages to build and grow revenue, and consistently delivers product goals. The agent will demonstrate initiative, drive, and independence, and take ownership with outstanding account‑management‑based selling skills.

All activities are performed in a compliant manner, adhering to Regeneron policies and all applicable regulations for the promotion of pharmaceutical products in the United States.

Typical Responsibilities
  • Engage Oncology experts and key customers within the assigned territory, delivering clinically focused messages to support the launch of a bispecific agent for treating malignancies in MM.
  • Facilitate partnerships with internal collaborators—Regional Directors, Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists—to proactively resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Build strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Execute market profiling activities to understand regional and local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and coordinate efforts with the Oncology account team, including supporting contracting pull‑through.
  • Develop relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges, and identify approved Regeneron Oncology resources aligned with customer needs.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations and policies governing customer interactions and ensuring consistent compliance.
Qualifications
  • Proven advanced clinically based and account‑based selling skills.
  • Positive, consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, and ability to operate with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Results‑oriented with a track record of success with product launches.
  • Strong account manager with analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in Oncology sales (Hematology/Oncology preferred).
  • Buy and bill experience with biologics required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions.
  • Current account management experience calling on large Oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
  • Strong understanding of the Hematology/Oncology therapeutic area and the current Oncology marketplace.
  • Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories.
