Job Summary
Responsible for achieving sales goals and market share objectives within an assigned territory by promoting and selling Bard Peripheral Vascular (BPV) products to healthcare professionals and institutions. This role involves developing strong customer relationships, educating on product benefits, and strategically managing the sales cycle to drive revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and market share targets for BPV products within the designated territory.
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to identify key accounts, develop sales strategies, and allocate resources effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong, credible relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, nurses, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
- Conduct product presentations, in‑service training, and demonstrations to educate customers on the features, benefits, and clinical applications of BPV products.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through effective probing and needs assessment.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Manage and prioritize sales pipeline, forecast sales accurately, and track progress against goals using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, clinical support, customer service) to ensure seamless customer experience and address inquiries or issues.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and sales meetings to stay abreast of market developments and enhance product knowledge.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines, including compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of successful medical device sales experience, preferably in the peripheral vascular or interventional cardiology space.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, hospital environment, and clinical procedures related to peripheral vascular disease.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
