The Inside Sales Account Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Tempe, AZ. This role is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts, handling inbound inquiries, and proactively reaching out to prospects and existing customers to drive sales of wire, cable, and related products. Day‑to‑day tasks include preparing quotes, processing orders, tracking shipments, and collaborating with operations and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
The Inside Sales Account Manager maintains detailed account information, follows up on leads, and identifies new opportunities by understanding customer applications and project requirements. This role also focuses on maintaining high customer satisfaction through responsive communication, problem‑solving, and professional service.
- Strong Inside Sales skills with the ability to manage the full sales cycle, from inquiry to close.
- Account Management and Relationship Building skills to maintain and grow long‑term customer partnerships.
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous support.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic technical aptitude to learn product specifications related to wire, cable, and connectivity solutions.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems, along with MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook), is beneficial.
- Previous experience in B2B industrial distribution, electrical products, or a related field, and a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred) are beneficial.
