Director of Sales
This position is responsible for developing Division wide key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans including the successful execution of these strategies to achieve preset financial targets as they relate to order intake and revenue generation. This position will also develop and motivate a sales team that is widespread across a large geographic area.
To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each of the primary duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company Management.
Reviews and approves quotations for accuracy.
Closely coordinates company Executive involvement with customer Management.
This position requires a four (4) year college degree in Engineering or Marketing or equivalent related experience in the semiconductor/electronics industry.
Requires a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the semiconductors/electronics industry or fifteen (15) years of capital equipment sales experience.
Employee must have a valid driver's license and willingness to work a flexible schedule to allow for overnight travel demands, up to 60% of the time.
Must be computer literate with MS Office software and have excellent oral and written communication skills to create and edit written materials and to persuade and influence others.
Experience with Miller Heiman and Seibel CRM preferred.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position requires sitting for extended periods of time. Occasionally requires standing, squatting, reaching and bending. Requires the ability to receive information through oral communication both in-person and on the phone. Manual dexterity is needed for using the computer keyboard.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Must have adequate vision to operate computer and complete paperwork.
