Sales Operations Coordinator

A leading financial services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator to support its Merchant Services sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in sales support, lead management, CRM systems, customer operations, or data coordination who wants to build their career within Sales Operations.

This position will help manage the day-to-day flow of sales leads, maintain accurate CRM data, support reporting, and ensure sales representatives receive leads accurately and on time.

Pay: $22/hour
Location: Tempe, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hybrid: Tuesday–Thursday onsite;
Monday & Friday remote
Training: First month is 5 days per week onsite
Contract: Initial 3 months with intention to extend to 6+ months and potential to convert to a permanent position

• Coordinate the assignment of inbound and outbound sales leads to sales representatives.
• Monitor lead queues to ensure leads are distributed and followed up on in a timely manner.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate information within Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Review lead information for accuracy and completeness before assignment.
• Track lead volume, assignment activity, aging, and follow-up.
• Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and other sales operations documentation.
• Use Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas, to organize and analyze information.
• Partner with Sales Managers to address lead assignment and workload questions.
• Identify incomplete, duplicate, or inaccurate data and coordinate corrections.
• Escalate CRM, routing, or lead-quality issues when needed.
• Assist with process improvements that make lead distribution and sales support more efficient.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established business procedures.

• 2+ years of experience in sales support, lead management, sales operations, CRM support, customer operations, or a related environment.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, systems, and detailed information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in growing within Sales Operations, CRM, Merchant Services, or Business Operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the sales operations function of a large financial services organization. You'll develop valuable experience with CRM systems, Salesforce, lead management, Excel reporting, data quality, and sales operations while working closely with sales representatives and leadership.
