Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and marketing, with a passion for landscape management and sustainability. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving the company’s growth in the landscape management sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify New Business Opportunities:Research and identify potential clients and market segments within the landscape management industry. Develop strategies to target and acquire new business.
  • Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Understand client needs and propose solutions that align with their landscape management goals.
  • Sales and Marketing:Develop and implement sales strategies, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Market Analysis:Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for business growth.
  • Proposal and Contract Management:Prepare detailed proposals and contracts. Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Reporting:Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports to the Sales Director/Manager on business development activities and results.
  • Customer Service:Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns and providing timely follow-ups.
Qualifications
  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A background in horticulture, landscaping, or environmental science is a plus.
  • Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the landscape management or related industry.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
