As a  
** Security Officer - Bike Response Patrol
** in  
** Tempe, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a professional property location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and support tenants and visitors with customer-focused service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and escalating concerns per post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.

+ Monitor access points, check doors and gates for signs of tampering, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes as directed by site procedures.

+ Complete routine reports such as activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be able to ride a bike.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
