As a Security Officer - Patrol Detail in Tempe, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site‑specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas while verifying credentials, directing visitors, and documenting security‑related events and/or observations.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying key contacts, assisting with site procedures, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
