What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate for a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas involving healthcare operations, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related issues according to post orders.
Support Allied Universal protocols for armed posts by maintaining professional presence, handling assigned equipment responsibly, and following all applicable training, reporting, and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card and/or license is required.
A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
