What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

* Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support the screening of personnel, vendors, and/or deliveries entering the location.

* Document routine activities, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance or hazard concerns, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* A guard card and/or license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
