As a Security Officer Corporate Access Control in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in alignment with location policies and financial industry expectations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
