Multi-Trade Project Technician Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable Multi-Trade Project Technician to work directly with our President for the next 12 months. This is a hands‑on, dynamic role essential to supporting a wide variety of internal projects. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who thrives on problem-solving, takes initiative, and can work independently across multiple trades.
Responsibilities- Support and execute work across several ongoing and upcoming projects, including CGP yard projects and equipment repairs.
- Assist in construction and service work, including building a new office.
- Perform residential construction tasks and property improvements.
- Manage priorities across diverse tasks and report directly to the President.
- Coordinate daily tasks and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Experience in plumbing, construction, carpentry, and project management.
- Strong skills in framing, mechanical work, drywall, electrical, painting, customer service, concrete, and trailer repair.
- Proficiency in equipment‑focused mechanical work, including repairs of trailers, yard equipment, and small machinery.
- Welding skills, including MIG, flux core, and stick welding.
- Experience with finish carpentry, plumbing, metal framing, and concrete work.
- Basic electrical knowledge and capability to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on heavy machinery.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with HVAC, boilers, and sheet metal is a strong plus.
- Automotive mechanical experience and TIG welding are bonuses but not required.
- Experience in grading for landscaping and site prep for new construction.
- Flooring installation and repair experience, including tile, wood, laminate, and concrete surfaces.

Work EnvironmentWork hours are typically from 8 am to 5 pm. Employees will be provided with work uniforms, a cell phone, a gas card, and access to the company's Home Depot account for supplies. A company vehicle is available for use and can be taken home for all jobs. The role includes an on‑call rotation, requiring emergency call response during nights, weekends, and holidays.
The schedule is provided approximately six weeks in advance.
This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 – $32.00/hr.
