We are looking for 1099 subcontractor crew members who are for motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals who want to grow with a company that values quality, teamwork, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality exterior roofing projects, including installations, replacements, and repairs of residential and/or commercial roofing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar roofing role.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques (shingles, flat roofing, flashing, underlayment, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3+ years of experience in roofing or exterior construction is required.
- Basic knowledge of roofing hand tools and power tools (nail guns, cutters, roofing shovels, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling on rooftops and ladders.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time (bundles of shingles, roofing materials, etc.).
- Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and at varying roof heights and pitches.
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
