Field‑based:
Work is conducted on‑site at customer locations.

• Start and commission new systems, diagnose and repair environmental‑control systems, applying knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, refrigeration theory, and mechanical techniques in diverse commercial settings.
• Serve as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on‑site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, acquire materials, and synchronize work.
• Keep current on Trane products, covering installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
• Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company‑issued assets.
• Show team effort and flexibility, working overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as required.
• Perform electrical installation tasks, including wire pulling, conduit bending, and electrical troubleshooting.

• A high school diploma or equivalent; typically 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience. Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
• A valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years.
• Previous experience with DDC controls systems preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
