As the Service Technician, you’ll assist with oversight of the property’s physical assets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your duties include diagnosing problems, performing general repairs, assisting with apartment make‑readies, preventive maintenance, and participating in construction or rehabilitation projects.

• Use industry‑specific technology to complete repairs and replacements in a timely manner to restore units to move‑in ready condition.
• Complete maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep, including exterior grounds and common areas, troubleshoot HVAC, and help with make‑readies.
• Identify and correct hazardous community conditions and report hazards to the Community Manager and Service Manager.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented per company guidelines.
• Maintain and secure all property‑issued tools.
• Post notices to vacate and other community communications as applicable.
• Share on‑call responsibilities for inclement weather with the maintenance team, responding to resident requests per company standards.
• Comply with OSHA and all other safety requirements and with company policies, initiatives, and systems regarding maintenance.

• Six months to one year of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills required to perform job functions.
• Ability to perform manual, task‑oriented work under direct supervision.
• High School diploma or GED is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Must provide own industry‑specific hand tools.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Full range of motion with upper and lower body; regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing stairs.
• Use both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation.
• Push or pull items and reach overhead.
• Operate a motor vehicle on site if applicable.
• Work in all weather conditions.

Work Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, with potential overtime and extended hours, including on‑call and rotating on‑call as needed.
