Construction Skilled Laborer
We are seeking a skilled laborer to join our team. The primary responsibilities include pouring concrete, dismantling scaffolding, loading/unloading equipment, moving, unloading, setting shovel mortar and grout between wheel barrows, and site clean-up. Candidates must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Responsibilities- Pour concrete
- Dismantle scaffolding
- Load and unload equipment
- Move, unload, and set shovel mortar and grout between wheel barrows
- Perform site clean-up
- Lift 50+ lbs
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- Experience with concrete
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Knowledge of rebar and carpentry
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience with concrete preferred
- OSHA
10 certification preferred
We are a large General Contractor specializing in Commercial and Industrial projects, including battery storage facilities, advanced manufacturing, and high-rise buildings. We offer an internal apprenticeship program to train and build our internal team. We have 4 levels for each trade, and each level comes with pay increases. These positions start at Level II, with the potential to progress to Level IV.
Laborers can also advance to higher positions with increased pay.
Start times range from 4am-6am, with the possibility of starting as early as 1am during summer concrete pours. Workdays are 8-10 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Flexibility to travel around the valley is required, as job sites may vary. Current job sites include the Cubs Training Facility, a museum in downtown, and two battery storage facilities in East Mesa and out west.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.44 - $29.68/hr.
