HVAC Technician – Keep Our Community Comfortable!

Pay: $27.95-$30.75/hour (DOE)

Schedule:

7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration, air handlers, and commercial equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and general building repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
• Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and complete quality repairs
• Maintain equipment logs, reports, and maintenance records
• Work with residents, staff, and vendors to deliver outstanding customer service
• Help support plant operations and emergency systems while keeping safety a top priority
• Occasionally carrying the maintenance on-call pager may be required. Possibility of working weekends, holidays, overtime and or any shift as dictated by department workload.

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC/maintenance experience. Current enrollment in an accredited vocational trade school for maintenance of commercial kitchen/laundry facilities and or chillers may substitute for one year of experience
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA Certification strongly preferred. If no EPA certification employee must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid Driver's License required.
