Overview
Join Associated Contracting Resources as a versatile Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of buildings, systems, and common areas across multiple residential HOA communities throughout the valley. This hands-on role includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, welding, and general repairs. You’ll troubleshoot issues, complete service requests efficiently, and ensure properties are well-maintained with strong attention to detail. A reliable vehicle and readiness for on-the-go work are essential.
Responsibilities- Utilize online system to retrieve work orders and perform in-field maintenance.
- Perform duties related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, pressure washing, welding, block work and other maintenance needs for designated properties.
- Troubleshoot maintenance problems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
- Complete grounds work, including trash clean-up, sweeping, landscaping, pressure washing, waste removal, etc.
- Complete assigned maintenance service requests.
- May need to be available for after-hours calls and emergencies.
- Properly operate, maintain and store all maintenance equipment.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
- Must have a reliable pickup truck or van for daily travel to various sites.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and competency in skilled maintenance across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool equipment and chemicals, painting, drywall, welding, roofing, concrete/masonry, equipment operation, and other applicable maintenance skills.
- Ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Maintain professional, courteous, and friendly interactions with customers and staff.
- Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to complete tasks from start to finish in a quality manner, on time, within budget and while meeting applicable codes.
- Ability to gather information, analyze it, seek input and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a faster-than-average pace.
- Works indoors and outdoors.
- Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat and bend.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, in crowded areas and confined spaces.
- Ability to work on uneven surfaces, in hot, cold and wet conditions, and to climb and stand on ladders and scaffolding at heights up to 50 feet.
- Able to handle various manual and power tools.
- May work independently or as part of a team.
