Journeyman Service Electrician

Position Overview:

As a Residential Service Electrician
, you’ll diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in occupied homes. You’ll work directly with homeowners to deliver professional, courteous service while upholding the company’s quality and safety standards.

This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys independence, problem-solving, and building long-term customer relationships.

Full-Time

$32 – $38 per hour + performance incentives

8-hour shift, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays)

On the road (Greater Phoenix & surrounding areas)

• Residential Service & Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing homes — outlets, switches, breakers, lighting, panels, and wiring.
• Installations & Upgrades: Perform main-panel upgrades, add circuits, EV chargers, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, and other home-improvement electrical projects.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding diagnostics, repair options, and preventive maintenance recommendations.
• Documentation: Use a mobile platform (Service Titan, Procore, etc.) to record work orders, materials used, and job completion notes.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all NEC and OSHA guidelines and uphold Bleuwave’s safety culture.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and on-the-job training for apprentices or helpers when assigned.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of residential electrical service experience (required).
• Licensing: Journeyman-level credentials or equivalent documented experience. OSHA 10/30 preferred.

  Proficient in troubleshooting, wiring repairs, panel work, and code compliance.
• Technology: Comfortable using smartphones/tablets, email, and field-service software (Service Titan experience preferred).
• Physical Aptitude: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in attics, crawl spaces, and roofs as needed.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, professionalism, and customer-service demeanor.
• Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record: Required.
