DescriptionThis role is ideal for commercial Journeymen with experience in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. Our technicians and electricians work on nationwide deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and large-scale rollouts for some of the world’s largest brands, gaining exposure to the latest networking technologies and installation practices. The role is dispatched from home, allowing you to live anywhere within the region and travel directly to project sites.
Reporting directly to the Field Services Manager of the region, this role requires travel to any U.S. state as needed.

- Strict adherence to safety standards and ensuring everyone goes home.
- Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and circuits in retail, commercial, and industrial settings to meet National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Installation of EMT conduit pathways, wire, and breakers.
- Maintain as-built drawings and service records.
- Experience with MAC (Move, Add, Change) type projects in retail, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Manage and accurately log time, expenses, material, and field resources throughout project life cycles.
- Manage work orders, sign-off deliverables, daily log/journal, and other project documentation, sometimes directly to customers, project management, and leadership teams.
- Management and maintenance of company assets and vehicle (if assigned).
- Demonstrate the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- Understand and demonstrate a safety mindset in all settings.
- Maintain a valid electrical license issued by your state of residence in good standing throughout employment.
- Ability to travel extensively, often with little notice, to anywhere in the United States for several weeks at a time.
- Flexibility to work the hours of the traditional second and third shifts.
- Strong client and people-relationship skills.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, structured cabling, and telecommunication equipment, or willingness to learn, is strongly preferred.
- Phone, mobile application, and PC proficiency required;
Microsoft Office proficiency strongly preferred. - Ability to read and understand prints and schematics related to installation SOWs.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Meet company standards for pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
- Typical physical demands include frequent work on lifts, ladders, and possibly rooftops and other harder-to-access areas.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with employees and/or clients; manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of objects (typically up to 50 lbs.) and operating power tools.
- Must have industry-standard hand tools.
- Maintain a strong safety mindset and pride in leaving every installation clean, organized, and professionally executed.
