Now Hiring: HVAC Technician – Keep Our Community Comfortable!Are you an experienced HVAC pro who enjoys solving complex problems and keeping systems running at their best? Join the Friendship Village Tempe team and help create a safe, comfortable home for our residents!
Pay: $27.95-$30.75/hour (DOE)
Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Tuesday through Saturday
- Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration, air handlers, and commercial equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and general building repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
- Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and complete quality repairs
- Maintain equipment logs, reports, and maintenance records
- Work with residents, staff, and vendors to deliver outstanding customer service
- Help support plant operations and emergency systems while keeping safety a top priority
- Occasionally carrying the maintenance on-call pager may be required. Possibility of working weekends, holidays, overtime and or any shift as dictated by department workload.
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC/maintenance experience. (Current enrollment in an accredited vocational trade school for maintenance of commercial kitchen/laundry facilities and or chillers may substitute for one year of experience)
- HVAC Certification preferred.
- EPA Certification strongly preferred. If no EPA certification employee must obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Driver's License required.
