ABM Industries is seeking a Test Technician II to join our Electrical Power Services team in Tempe, Arizona. This position is responsible for performing inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning activities on electrical power distribution equipment across commercial, industrial, government, data center, semiconductor, utility, and mission-critical facilities. Position Summary Pay: $50-$57 hourly. The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position.

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED.

* NETA Level II Certification or equivalent electrical testing experience.

* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, field service, industrial maintenance, or power systems.

* Experience testing and troubleshooting:

* Circuit breakers

* Transformers

* Medium-voltage cable systems

* Low-voltage cable systems

* Protective relays

* Substation equipment

* Experience preparing or working with PowerDB reports.

* Working knowledge of electrical theory, AC/DC systems, and power distribution equipment.

* Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements.

* Ability to safely operate electrical test equipment and diagnostic instruments.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and electronic reporting systems.

* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Essential Functions

* Perform acceptance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning testing on electrical power distribution equipment.

* Conduct testing and maintenance of:

* Low- and medium-voltage switch gear

* Circuit breakers

* Power and distribution transformers

* Medium-voltage and low-voltage cable systems
