Job Description:

We are seeking Structured Cabling Leads/ Foremans to join our growing team. The Structured Cabling Lead/ Foreman will be responsible for overseeing projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the proper Installation of our structured cabling systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage structured cabling projects from start to finish
  • Lead your team in the installation of structured cabling systems
  • Provide technical support to customers and resolve any issues that arise
  • Maintain a high level of quality control for all structured cabling projects
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget

Perform the following job site task:

  • Build out telecommunications closets.
  • Install cable support systems of cable tray, j-hooks and ladder rack.
  • Install cat 6 horizontal station cable, backbone cable, fiber optic cable and inner duct.
  • Install special systems, security, cameras, audio visual, and Access control.
  • Terminate cat 6/ 5 and coax.
  • Have knowledge on how to use a fluke tester to test copper cable testing (UTP and coax) and fiber.
  • Have knowledge troubleshooting.
  • Be able to work on ladders and use power tools.
  • Have the ability to lift, carry, and set up a to 50 lbs.
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Structured Cabling Lead or similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed
