Role summary:
The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures. This role requires diagnosing issues, utilizing multiple craft skills, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The technician manages work orders, coordinates with contractors, and maintains accurate documentation. Operating heavy machinery and responding to emergency calls are essential functions.
The position supports continuous improvement efforts and collaborates with teams to maintain safe, efficient operations aligned with company policies and business priorities.

Whatyou'll do
Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures following established schedules and guidelines. Inspect, clean, and test equipment to diagnose issues and determine replacement needs to minimize future repairs. Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling to complete repairs. Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts ordering, and documentation accurately. Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies throughout all tasks.
Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment and facility systems. Proficiency in multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment. Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and powered equipment safely and effectively. Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and promote workplace safety. Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
