The CHOICE Program is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) or Para Professionals to support clients in a structured, therapeutic day program environment.
About the CHOICE Program
in indivudualized behavioral health treatment, g roup therapy and skill‑building, c ommunity-based therapeutic experiences, a structured therapeutic milieu, and an academic component delivered through self‑paced distance learning platforms ensuring clients remain engaged in their education while receiving the behavioral health services they need. Treatment planning is individualized, with curriculum and interventions aligned to each client's specific treatment goals.
What You'll Do- Supervise and ensure safety
- Facilitate groups, activities, and skill‑building sessions
- Support treatment goals and behavior plans
- Assist with documentation and case coordination
- Provide crisis intervention when needed
- Support academics (CHOICE)
- Participate in recreation and movement‑based activities (Therapeutic Rec)
- Collaborate with clinical and program teams
- Experience with at‑risk youth or behavioral health populations
- Strong communication & documentation skills
- Ability to manage group dynamics
- Comfort with structured environments
- Willingness to learn crisis intervention
- Meet state licensing requirements for BHTs/Para Professionals
- 21+ years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid AZ Driver's License & insurable driving record
- Must be able to obtain an AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Unrestricted)

Pay & Benefits- $23–$27/hr based on education and experience in the behavioral health field
