Software Engineering Lead

We are not looking for someone who uses AI tools occasionally. We are looking for an engineer who has made AI a core part of how they think, build, and ship, and who is hungry to work in an environment that moves faster than anywhere they have been before.

Anton Intelligence is the technology and AI engine behind a growing family of B2B healthcare companies. We build the software platforms, data systems, and AI-powered tools that our affiliated companies run on. We are not a services firm and we do not build for consumers. We build internal products that matter immediately, with a team that moves fast and ships constantly.

Our engineering environment runs like a daily hackathon: small teams, fast builds, continuous pushes, and the expectation that everyone is creating, not coordinating.

This is a full-stack, full-ownership engineering role on a small, high-output team. You will design, build, and ship features end-to-end using .NET, React, and Azure, and you will do it faster than you thought possible by leaning hard on AI tools. There is no hand-holding, no over-specified requirements, and no waiting for someone else to make decisions. You pick up the problem, build toward a solution, and ship.

Build and Ship Full-Stack

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in .NET, and frontend interfaces in React, end to end
• Own features from design through production deployment with no handoffs
• Manage data persistence using SQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations
• Use AI tools to write, debug, document, and test code every day, and apply sound judgment to everything that ships

Own the Cloud Infrastructure

• Migrate and modernize systems from IaaS toward Azure PaaS services
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code to define and manage cloud resources consistently
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment
  
  Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure-native tools for system health and rapid response
• Apply security best practices including access control, identity management, and encryption across all systems

Raise the Bar on AI-Native Development

• Actively contribute to team standards for how AI tools are used in the development workflow
• Stay current on emerging AI developer tooling and bring the best of it into the team
• Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer, holding yourself and others to a high standard
• Ensure all systems meet HIPAA and PHI compliance requirements by design

• You did not wait for permission to grow. You earned real responsibility early because your output made it undeniable.
• You are a daily user of agentic AI coding tools and can speak concretely about how they have changed the way you build.
• Your background is in B2B software. You have built platforms, internal tools, or enterprise systems, not consumer apps or mobile products.
• You are strong in .NET backend development, including building services and minimal APIs.
• You are comfortable with React and modern frontend practices.
• You have hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and are familiar with PaaS-first architecture.
• You know SQL well enough to own schema design and optimize queries without help.
• You are comfortable starting with incomplete information and building your way to clarity.
• You work well on a small, fast-moving team where collaboration is tight and bureaucracy is minimal.
• Microsoft Azure certification is a plus.
