Key Responsibilities- Serve as technical owner of software automation supporting manufacturing acceptance test and visual inspection stations.
- Provide expert‑level support for production‑critical issues.
- Lead application enhancements, migrations, and modernization efforts driven by user needs, instrumentation, and infrastructure changes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to perform automation application updates, manage technical risk, and coordinate releases.
- Establish and maintain required SDLC documentation, testing, and release.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant software engineering experience OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience in software engineering.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)- Proficiency in National Instruments Lab View and Test Stand is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, testing, release).
- Experience with multiple modern and legacy Windows Operating Systems.
- Proven ability to support production systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications.
- Familiarity with manufacturing traceability systems.
