Software Engineer, Data Engineering

• Configure Kafka for EOC (Enterprise Operational Cluster) Platform to facilitate real-time streaming applications.
• Provide support and maintenance for EOC Platform services and its eco-systems includes HDFS, Hive, Flume,Solr, Kafka, HBase.
• Work on Kafka Streams which listens to multiple streaming data coming from several producers.
• Implementation of Backup data for Batch processing and for analysis in real time streaming applications.
• Perform loading and transformation of large sets of structured and semi structured data.
• Use Flume to handle streaming data from Kafka and loaded into HBase.
• Involve in complete Data flow of the application starting from data ingestion from different data sources,processing the data into Hadoop EOC Platform.
• Work on writing Workflow jobs using Oozie and set up multiple programs scheduler system which help in managing multiple Hadoop jobs.
• Work on HBase Indexer which provides the ability to stream events from HBase to Solr for near real time searching.
• Use different file formats like text files, sequence files and Avro.
• Develop the Web services using spring and spring boot.
• Write Build scripts to build applications using tools like maven and deploy the code using Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Deploy Tomcat applications using CMP (Cloud Management Portal).
• Involve in Agile methodologies, daily scrum meetings, Sprint planning.

• A minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must have the ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
