Technical .NET​/Angular Lead

Technical Lead - .NET / AngularA fast-growing software consultancy is seeking a Technical Lead to join its engineering team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in either Tempe or Tucson, Arizona. The organization specializes in building modern custom software solutions using .NET, Angular, Azure, and cloud-native technologies for a diverse portfolio of clients.

This is an opportunity to work on new product development rather than supporting aging systems. The team is actively building greenfield applications across multiple industries, including digital identity, education technology, and enterprise business platforms. They are seeking an experienced engineer who enjoys influencing technical direction, mentoring developers, and contributing hands-on throughout the software development lifecycle. The environment is highly technical, collaborative, and focused on modern software engineering practices.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with C# and .NET technologies
• Recent Angular development experience
• Experience designing and developing full-stack applications
• SQL Server and relational database expertise
• Ability to write and optimize stored procedures
• Azure cloud experience
• Experience leading technical initiatives or development teams
• Strong communication and solution-design skills
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional environment

• Prior consulting experience
• Experience with enterprise-scale applications
• Cloud architecture knowledge
• Exposure to digital identity or security-focused applications
• Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
• Familiarity with Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex

• Leading technical delivery efforts across application development projects
• Collaborating with architects on system design and implementation strategies
• Providing guidance and mentorship to development teams
• Participating in code reviews and enforcing engineering best practices
• Developing scalable cloud-based applications
• Working directly with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
