We are seeking a Java full stack developer for a 12-month contract position based in Tempe, Arizona. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments across the full software development life cycle.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement large-scale applications in hosted production environments
- Work across the full software development life cycle
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and optimize front-end interfaces using modern frameworks
- Design and manage database solutions with attention to query performance tuning
- Deploy and manage applications using containerization and cloud infrastructure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for build and deployment processes
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using observability and logging tools
- Collaborate with team members using development and communication tools
- 8 years of professional software development experience
- 8 years of experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in Java Spring Boot
- Experience with REST web services
- Experience with the Spring Framework
- Database and persistence experience including PostgreSQL and Object/Relational Mapping
- Experience with cloud-based development and management
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
- Linux/Unix shell scripting
- Kubernetes experience
- Azure cloud platform experience
- Experience with Data Lake, ADX, or Databricks
- Apache Kafka experience
- Thymeleaf templating engine experience
- NodeJS experience
- Angular framework experience
- Gradle build tool experience
- Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience
- Helm and Kustomize experience
- Git Hub Actions for CI/CD
- Fluentbit, Apache NiFi, Dynatrace, or Grafana experience
- Disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Open-source project experience
