We are seeking a Full-Stack Architect to join a dynamic team operating in a startup-like environment. The ideal candidate will provide architectural leadership, work across the entire technology stack, and advise on platform scalability. This role is integral to high-impact projects, including a major technology migration and the expansion of a new platform.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications aligned with enterprise standards and architectural guidelines.
• Advise on large-scale architecture decisions and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable microservices architectures and robust API contracts.
• Develop, expose, and consume RESTful and/or SOAP web services across distributed systems.

• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Support Dev Ops practices by contributing to and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Work on key projects including technology migration and new platform development.

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience, with a strong preference for Java 11, 17, or 21.
• Deep proficiency in the Spring Framework ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures at an enterprise scale.
• Strong architectural experience with the ability to work across the entire tech stack.
• Experience with cloud platforms, with Azure being important.
• Solid grounding in OOP principles, software design patterns, and SOLID design principles.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or comparable tooling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience integrating or extending NCR platforms is desirable.
• Retail POS experience, specifically related to NCR.
• Familiarity with message broker technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Knowledge of API gateway tools and service mesh solutions (e.g., Kong, Istio).
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as React.
