_About the role_

_Join Transdev in Phoenix, AZ and help support the future of autonomous trucking. In this role, you will operate and monitor autonomous box trucks while working alongside advanced vehicle technology._

_We're looking for experienced, safety-focused drivers who are comfortable with new technology and excited to be part of the next generation of freight transportation._

• _ Starting rate of pay $27.00 per hour with the potential to earn up to $31.00 per hour.

* Quarterly payrate increase of 3% to 8% based on work performance

* Annual Bonus of $3,000.00

Key Responsibilities:

_

+ _Operate 26-30 ft box trucks while supervising onboard autonomous driving systems_

+ _Work closely with engineering teams to test, evaluate, and refine our self-driving technology_

+ _Use onboard screens, diagnostic tools, and software to monitor system performance_

+ _Perform test runs, document vehicle behavior, and provide clear, actionable feedback_

+ _Stay highly alert and safety-focused, stepping in as needed while following DOT and company safety guidelines_

_What We're Looking For_

+ _Valid CDL (Required)_

+ _1+ years experience driving 26-30 ft box trucks (Required)_

+ _Clean MVR (Required)_

+ _Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new applications_

+ _Ability to pass a background check and drug screen_

+ _Flexible overnight availability , 5 days per week, including weekends_

+ _Excellent judgment under pressure_

+ _Strong communication skills and the ability to write clear, simple reports_

+ _A natural problem-solver with a curious, "inventor" mindset_

Pre-Employment Requirements:

+ _Must be 21 years old_

+ _Must possess a valid CDL Class A or B required for certain markets and R&D roles_

+ _Must have a minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience with 26'+ box trucks or comparable commercial vehicles_

+ _Must consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check (U.S. roles) and meet company driving standards_

+ _Must consent to a criminal background check and meet eligibility requirements_

+ _Must consent to a drug screening (U.S. roles) prior to employment_

+ _Must provide accurate employment history, licensing information, and disclose any potential issues that may appear on pre-employment screenings_
