Class A Local Delivery Driver
Location:
Tempe, AZ (Dry‑Ice Logistics) – Phoenix, AZ.
As a CDL A Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting dry‑ice products and providing exceptional customer service across the Phoenix area.
Responsibilities- Drive truck to deliver dry ice to customers.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
- Obtain customer signatures, verify load manifests, and collect empty dry‑ice containers.
- Provide customer service and report feedback to the Branch Manager.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections per DOT and company checklists; keep the truck clean.
- Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
- Secure cargo before and during transit.
- At least 21 years old.
- Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or a recent (≤12 months) trucking‑school certificate; military CDL experience is accepted.
- No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years; no serious violations.
- No CDL suspensions in the last 3 years except for “Failure to pay child support.”
- No DUI in the last 7 years.
- Forklift certification.
- Pallet jack certification.
- At least 2 years of route‑driver experience.
- Base compensation $26.50 / hr and $1,000 referral bonus.
- Monday–Friday schedule; route includes Phoenix area.
- CDL A rucks with lift gates; no automatic restrictions.
