Logistics Specialist
Join our Inbound Transportation team as a Logistics Specialist, where you will manage scheduled pickups, reroute hauls, resolve issues, perform data analysis, and collaborate with multiple vendors. This role involves working with 18-wheelers carrying freight, ensuring efficient logistics operations.
Responsibilities- Attend morning meetings to review plans and recap the previous day.
- Manage relationships with approximately 50 different vendors.
- Track vendor activity using Excel.
- Address and resolve issues related to shipment pickups.
- Conduct data analysis to enhance transportation efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors to identify and resolve logistical issues.
- At least 3 years of professional work experience.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, business analytics, and business intelligence.
Skills & Qualifications

- Reliable and stable work history.
- Associate's degree required;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - 4-5+ years of industry experience.
- Ability to work with multiple screens and solve complex problems.
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Business Intelligence training or certification.
This position is 100% onsite, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will have the opportunity to work in a startup environment that encourages growth, innovation, and ownership. The team is diverse and collaborative, directly impacting up to 1000 shipments per week. Flexibility and a problem-solving attitude are essential to succeed in this role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
