We're an employee-owned outdoor power equipment dealer, which means when you join our team, you're joining a company where every team member has a stake in our success. We're looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our Parts & Service department, keeping our inventory accurate and our service technicians running smoothly.
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 / hour, based on experience
About the RoleAs Receiving Clerk, you'll be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming equipment and parts, while also supporting our service technicians by pulling and issuing the parts they need to get repairs done right and on time. This is a hands‑on role for someone who's organized, reliable, and comfortable working around outdoor power equipment.
What You'll Do- Receive incoming shipments of equipment, parts, and supplies; verify counts against packing slips and purchase orders
- Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to the Location Manager
- Enter received inventory into our inventory management system accurately and promptly
- Properly label, tag, and stock parts and units in designated storage locations
- Pull and issue correct parts to service technicians based on repair orders
- Look up part numbers using parts catalogs, manufacturer databases, and inventory software
- Special‑order parts not in stock and follow up on delivery status
- Assist with core returns, warranty parts processing, and cycle counts
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe receiving area and stockroom
- Assist at the parts counter with customer inquiries as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, or a parts department preferred
- Experience with outdoor power equipment, small engines, or similar mechanical products a plus
- Familiarity with parts lookup systems and inventory/POS software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills for working with technicians, vendors, and customers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and be on your feet in a stockroom/warehouse setting
