Seeking dedicated School Psychologists for contract roles during the 2026–2027 school year within a respected Michigan district. These opportunities are ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic K–12 settings and are looking to make a positive impact across multiple school sites. Positions are onsite only.
In this engaging role, you will collaborate with educators, students, and families to support academic achievement and social-emotional well-being. With a 37.5-hour workweek, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with students at the Jefferson, Monroe Public, and Airport locations throughout Monroe County.
Key
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Michigan School Psychologist license (required; please verify credentials through the official Michigan Department of Education site)
- Previous experience in a K–12 school setting is preferred
- Strong background in assessment, counseling, and intervention with diverse student groups
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for K–12 students
- Develop and monitor individualized education and intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices
- Lead or participate in behavioral consultation and crisis intervention
- Support families and staff with resources and guidance to enhance student success
Three travel positions are available for the 2026–2027 school year, spanning August 12, 2026, to June 2, 2027. Qualified travel candidates will receive compensation of $120.00 per hour, reflecting the unique nature of these assignments.
