Pay Rate: Up to  100/hr, Pay range:  115.00 -  115.00/hr

Per Diem: Yes (for those relocating or traveling)

PTO: 3 weeks

Job Summary

The Construction Manager will be directly responsible for monitoring and refining the long‑range and short‑term plans to ensure the success of the construction project. The Construction Manager will direct and coordinate day‑to‑day activities in the field, manage the flow of information, control costs, manage the schedule, implement and monitor safety programs, and verify that completed work meets the quality requirements of the construction documents.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and/or coordinate with operations personnel and resources for the projects.
  • Assist with preconstruction efforts.
  • Manage all aspects of the project from inception through closeout.
  • Review GC/Contractor Project Executive Plan.
  • Review trade contracts and bid packages, and oversee the procurement process.
  • Assist with developing scope of work and reviewing proposals for General Contractors, Equipment Vendors, Commissioning Agent, Testing and Inspection Agent.
  • Oversee project performance including status, procurement, equipment delivery, schedule, cost control, safety, and change management systems.
  • Maintain relationships with internal partners, designers, consultants, and the GC team.
  • Attend and serve as the POC leader for GC/Contractor project OAC meetings.
  • Coordinate with the internal team for inspection and test data review for compliance with specifications and company standards.
  • Review GC/Contractor site logistics, procurement, safety, and schedule plans during development for compliance and acceptance.
  • Cooperate with internal team and GC/Contractor/Vendors during MSOW submissions and reviews, including scheduling escorts.
  • Coordinate with internal team and GC/Contractor/Vendors on site blackout dates and stop work notifications.
  • Perform regular project walks to review works in place, schedule updates, invoice and quality review.
  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury‑Free Environment (IFE) through personal actions and program enforcement on projects.
Qualifications
  • 5‑10+ years of experience in Construction Management of large‑scale projects.
  • Experience in data center, critical facility, or mission‑critical environments.
  • Experience overseeing General Contractor and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in project documentation, quality assurance, and progress reporting.
  • Strong skills in cost tracking, scheduling, and problem‑solving.
Skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time, while collaborating within a team.
  • Knowledge of design, bidding and construction processes, quality control, costs, risks, schedule and safety to drive project completion on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of construction delivery methods:
    Design‑build, design‑bid build, CM‑at Risk, and Design Assist.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment and management.
  • Knowledge of computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Procore or sim PMIS, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and One Note.
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • CCM, PMI, or PMP certification preferred, or similar applicable certifications.
