SUMMARY

Temple College is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking professional to serve as Program Lead and Industrial Trainer for the Global Logistics and Smart Supply Chain program, housed within the Texas Integrated Manufacturing and Engineering (TIME) Center. This role is central to developing a next‑generation workforce prepared for careers in logistics, distribution, and supply chain operations enhanced by automation, robotics, and digital technologies.

The ideal candidate will bring industry experience in logistics systems, warehouse automation, inventory control, and supply chain operations, with strong familiarity in emerging technologies such as autonomous systems, RFID tracking, smart conveyors, cloud‑based logistics platforms, and integrated robotics. This position supports the rapid evolution of Central Texas as a hub for advanced manufacturing, distribution, and global supply chain activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead development and management of the Global Logistics and Smart Supply Chain program curriculum.
  • Manage logistics training labs, including smart warehouse systems, automation equipment, and simulation tools.
  • Teach courses in logistics, supply chain operations, warehouse management, and related topics across credit and non‑credit programs.
  • Integrate emerging technologies such as RFID, automation, robotics, data analytics, and cloud‑based systems into instruction.
  • Collaborate with Workforce and Continuing Education to deliver customized training for industry partners.
  • Support development of short‑term credentials, certifications, and workforce training pathways.
  • Coordinate with adjunct faculty and industry partners to expand program delivery.
  • Promote the program through community outreach, employer engagement, and workforce initiatives.
  • Assist in establishing prior learning assessment and industry certification alignment.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with institutional and state requirements.
  • Provide student advising, mentorship, and career pathway guidance.
  • Participate in professional development, committees, and college initiatives.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts for workforce programs.
  • Ensure lab safety, compliance, and proper use of equipment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant to regional industry partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS
  • Strong instructional and facilitation skills.

PHYSICAL EFFORT
