Texell Credit Union (Temple Headquarters, Temple, TX 76502) is hiring a full‑time Collections Representative. The role involves negligible travel and is part of the banking category.

• Preserve the credit union’s assets by collecting on delinquent accounts.
• Successfully collect delinquent debt in all stages (early, late, repossessions) and make outbound calls on unsecured loans and a credit card portfolio.
• Identify first payment defaults on unsecured loans and the issues preventing the remittance of timely payments or other payment issues.
• Share responsibility for collecting on secured debt and assist other staff with processing repossessed collateral.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be team oriented.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Stable work history.
• Pertinent collections experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong decision‑making skills and an intuitive nature to think on your feet.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in multiple systems at one time.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Open availability to work shifts Monday through Friday;
  Saturday work may be requested occasionally.
